Scott D. Santos, a partner in the firm, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at State University of New York at New Paltz in 1981 and his juris doctor from St. Johns University in 1987. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York in 1990 and the US District Court, Middle District of Florida in 1998.
Mr. Santos began his legal career as a Bronx Assistant District Attorney. After working there for six years, he worked for four insurance defense firms before becoming a full time plaintiffs’ attorney.

A fourth generation Floridian, Paul D. Barnard spent his elementary through high school years in Orlando, Florida, where he currently resides with his wife Patricia and two sons Jake and Luke. Following high school, Mr. Barnard attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where he earned his bachelor’s degree and St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida, where he earned his juris doctorate.
Following his admission to the Florida Bar, Mr. Barnard worked for the nation’s largest Social Security Disability law firm, helping people obtain their disability benefits. Now Mr. Barnard has expanded his practice to diligently protect the rights of those whom have been injured as a result of the negligent actions of others, while continuing his work with persons seeking disability benefits.
